Mission
What:
Majesty is an emerging transnational political movement building a network of political parties across nations to represent the living Earth in democratic government.
Why:
Our work arises from a recognition that changes the fundamental paradigm of politics at its root.
Humanity is part of something incredible; that the Earth within which we find our place is a single living system, teeming with intelligence, coherence, and life. And that all nations, cultures, and human systems are part of that living field.
And yet, our current approaches to politics, leadership, and governance are not based in this reality.
They are based in a paradigm of separation that assumes human supremacy, incentivises national or multi-national self-interest, and allows humanity to violate multiple planetary boundaries.
And all while issues like war, economic destabilisation, wealth inequality, social polarisation, unregulated AI, the mental health crisis, and the ecological crisis characterise an unprecedented time of existential risk.
As serious as all of these issues are, at a deeper level they are symptoms of a fundamental misalignment between how humanity organises power and the living systems we are part of.
Majesty exists to pioneer a new way. One that realigns politics, leadership and governance with Life.
How:
Majesty is building a global movement towards the emergence of political parties across nations capable of representing the living Earth in democratic government.
To get there, we’re currently focussing on:
Governance: innovating new forms of participatory governance aligned with the living Earth and humanity’s collective purpose within the wider Earth-system
Policy: we have open policy circles across many domains of human activity exploring how Majesty’s approach can be applied to the major issues of our time
Stewardship: developing a global body of representatives who can steward Majesty’s work within different nations
National Parties: building Majesty as a movement across nations toward the emergence of Majesty national parties that can participate democratically in elections
