While conventional leadership often asks us to amputate parts of ourselves in order to appear worthy of leading, this retreat focuses on the courageous vulnerability embodied leaders can cultivate to reveal their humanity and take their fields deeper in the process.
As the world undergoes a profound reckoning with serious failures of integrity among society’s most powerful, and as our leaders increasingly take up sides in today’s burning ground of polarisation, the conventional paradigm of leadership is breaking down.
In the chasm created by this crisis, leadership today increasingly veers into polar domains. On one side, leaders present themselves as noble servants of a higher vision, beyond the shadows and drives of our embodied nature, and yet these leaders are still often plagued by scandals. On the other, many leaders today increasingly inhabit the most brazen, self-serving, separative, and unfiltered expressions of human nature, in ways that are often an affront to the heart.
Neither has the answer to the crisis of leadership rippling through our world.
In Majesty, we perceive these times are calling for a fundamentally new paradigm of embodied leadership.
Leaders who can descend fully into the vitality, instinct, emotional depth and erotic aliveness of being human, while remaining rooted in integrity, purpose, compassion and responsibility.
Leaders who can avoid the common pitfalls for those in power by integrating deep maturity around somatic attunement and the capacity to navigate different layers of intimacy while staying in integrity with their own and others boundaries.
Leaders who no longer need to split themselves into acceptable and unacceptable parts, but who have undertaken the courageous work of integrating them into a mature, trustworthy whole.
This Embodied Leadership initiation is designed for those who recognise how critical integrated, vitally alive embodiment is for trustable leadership.
Before we can steward greater responsibility for the whole, we must first learn to steward the vulnerable, messy journey of being in a human body. This initiation is focussed on how leaders can integrate the most alive and authentic expression of their embodied being.
Such leaders can learn to reveal themselves in the truth of their vulnerabilities, capacities, limitations, desires, needs, and strengths, while still remaining aligned with the accountability, clarity, and integrity leadership requires.

BACKGROUND
The world has entered a period of profound transition.
The coming decades ask for more than us adapting to rapid technological, social, and ecological change. They are calling for the emergence of a radically different type of human being.
The future must not be shaped simply by those with the greatest wealth or biggest platforms, but by those who have developed the inner maturity, integrity, purpose, courage, and wisdom to accept responsibility for the living whole we are all a part of.
There are thousands of leadership trainings, coaching programs, and personal development retreats available today. Many of them are excellent. They help people become more confident, effective, resilient, successful and self-aware.
The Majesty Leadership Initiations build on their foundation, and take leadership development work into totally new territory.
Rather than focusing on conventional self-development, these retreats are initiations.
An initiation marks the crossing of a threshold. It invites us to leave behind one way of being and step irrevocably into another. It asks whether we’re willing to step into who we truly are at a deeper level of our being than we’ve previously known how to live from. .
Each Majesty Initiation Retreat creates the conditions for participants to cross significant thresholds by stepping into and being recognised in a deeper level of leadership in service to life.
The challenges of today are calling forth those willing to freely accept their piece of that collective responsibility, based on the recognition that the future of humanity now depends on us learning to emerge together to hold the whole.

Majesty is an emerging transnational political movement building a network of political parties across nations to represent the living Earth in democratic government.

They are all open to the public, and they also form one of the principal developmental opportunities recommended within the Majesty Leadership Development Pathway.
The Majesty Leadership Development Pathway is how we are growing the leaders this work needs to serve the shift the world needs.
The Majesty Leadership Initiations are not progressive levels to be completed in a fixed sequence.
They are complementary developmental intensives addressing different dimensions of leadership.
Participants are encouraged by the Leadership Development Circle to attend the initiation most aligned with their current developmental edge.
Many participants will return to the same initiation more than once as different layers of development unfold throughout their lives.
Ultimately, initiation is less about what happens during a retreat than about the life that follows it.
Of course, the real initiation begins when the insights, commitments and transformations embodied during the retreat are brought into the challenges, relationships and responsibilities of everyday life.

*Temples are ceremonial spaces dedicated to the embodied exploration of themes we’re working with, which can include somatic touch and erotic energy. We include these in our work because we feel it is critical for leaders today to develop healthy and mature relationships to these aspects of the human being.

The first meal will be dinner on the evening of the 25th February and the last meal will be breakfast on the morning of the 2nd March.

FACILITATORS
Jon Eden Khan is a transformational leader, mentor, and facilitator, living in his beloved home city of Berlin.
Jon is the initiator of Majesty, a transnational political party dedicated to realigning power with the living Earth.
He is also founder of AVATARA, an international spiritual community dedicated to humanity’s collective awakening and its expression through new approaches to leadership, consciousness, and economics.
And he mentors soul-driven leaders, from top corporate business leaders and FinTech trailblazers, to LGBT rights activists in the Middle East, to some of the most respected facilitators of transformational self-development work in the world.
Between 2016-2018 Jon worked as European Director of the Global Purpose Movement, and in 2014, he co-founded Synergy Forum, an initiative focussed on the integration of spiritual awakening, social innovation and systems transformation. Between 2012-2015 he worked as part of the leadership team of Zero Point Six in Interlaken, Switzerland, exploring how a deeper understanding of spiritual awakening can inform efforts toward global transformation.
Jon’s path has allowed him to experience a wide spectrum of the human experience. From dropping out of school at age 13 to attend a centre for troubled youths, to 5 years of homelessness and heroin addiction in his early 20’s to getting clean alone in a room over 6 months. From re-entering education and going on to turn down a PhD with one of the foremost universities in the world, to dedicating himself fully to self-development, healing his traumas and service, to co-leading international projects dedicated to humanity’s collective awakening through new approaches to leadership, power, and purpose.

Cari Caldwell is a catalyst for healing and a weaver of worlds. Be it ourselves, our communities, our relationships, our sexuality or our spirit, she finds ways to help us connect to what matters. She is an entrepreneur, facilitator, an executive, somatic and intimacy coach and consultant with over 20 years of experience working with humans in a variety of contexts – from large multi-national corporations to grassroots movements, from the finance sector to traditional midwifery. She is at her best when birthing new futures with individuals and communities.
Cari was a Co-Founder and Director of Future Considerations, a leadership and organizational development consultancy based in London, England and recipient of the WorldBlu Certification of most democratic and freedom-centred workplaces. Cari has lead organizations and businesses in the areas of social innovation, maternal health and addressing complex social challenges. She is a learner/teacher of embodied racial justice, sacred sexuality, ritual theatre, family and organizational constellations and collective emergence.
Cari has coached political campaigns in the US and New Zealand. She has trained extensively with and taught Embodied Leadership for the Strozzi Institute. She is a graduate of Newfield Ontological Coaching program, Theory U Global Classroom at MIT and VISIONS anti-racism training. She is certified in the Intercultural Development Inventory Psychometric, Spiral Dynamics with Don Beck, Richard Barrett’s Cultural Transformation Tool and Leadership Values Assessment, and Sylvia Clute’s Unitive Justice. She holds a BA in Philosophy, History and International Studies from Northwestern University and completed Masters coursework in Intercultural Relations.
She trained for 3 years in organizational and family systems facilitation based on the work of Bert Hellinger. She is currently working on a book integrating her passions for leadership, innovation and birth that maps lessons from physiologic birth to organizational and systemic innovation. Cari is mother to Conor, Luca and their dog Rowdy in Fort Collins, Colorado.
